Caroline and Nick's Engagement at Zion National Park

"My now husband Nick and I were on a two week road trip of the southwest. He proposed to me after a sunset hike in Zion National Park on Christmas Eve. It was such a beautiful way to spend the Holiday: cozy in our jammies, with spiked nog, looking forward to our future together. What makes me smile every time I look at my ring, is that unbeknownst to me, Nick went to Brooke--a childhood friend--to have it made. It means so much to me that his idea, her hard work and both of their love is wrapped around my finger." -Caroline

Caroline and I grew up together and shared that type of friendship where you could spend days on end together and never get sick of one another. In high school we were practically glued to one another. Years later we both ended up living in New York and that's when I met Nick for the first time -- a chance encounter on the M57 bus. You always hope that your friends will end up with someone wonderful, someone who really deserves them. And right there on the bus I knew that Nick was perfect for Caroline. When Nick asked me to make Caroline's engagement ring I was overwhelmed with feelings of happiness, excitement and honor. I thought of all of those funny conversations we had in high school about guys and now here I was making a ring to represent the love of the real guy. -Brooke
