Many of our clients are unfamiliar with unheated tanzanite, like the center stone you see in this Clio ring. You may have come to expect tanzanite to be a bright purple color that is anything but subtle. Enter the world of unheated tanzanite, meaning these stones are completely free of any treatments to change the color of the stone, and you will fall in love! This custom cut, geo-oval, mermaid colored tanzanite changes from periwinkle to light blue and even has shades of light green in it as the angle changes. Additionally it is believed that tanzanite will run out within the next 20-30 years making it a collectors item.
